More Good News!

I spoke with Tanya's Mom (Karen) last night and although Tanya's IGF-1 levels are ever in fluctuation, her current numbers are 754 (a reference rate is 64-344).  Even though it's a roller-coaster ride with Tanya's levels, Karen believes that the Somatuline Depot is playing a strong role in lowering Tanya's IGF-1.

Hi Tina, it's me, Aaron's mom, dropping by. Let's put our heads together on this media thing. Maybe we should talk on the phone. I'm still committed to developing a site to bring out the stories in Canada....email me on this. P

Hello Tina, I have just diagnosis, finally I have been sick for 7-8. I couldnt count have many doctors I have seen in those 8 years. U know you are soooo sick but no one knows why... My IGF-1 is elevated, but there is no tumour in my pituitary gland. My head and feet and hands have changed. So the doctors are not sure how to treat me. My heart goes out to Tanya and tell her I am saying a prayer for her. And tell her to stay strong (which is pretty hard). I know what is geting me thru this unknown is my support group. One quick question, I was born in Las Vegas by any chance did Tanya parents or grandparents ever work at the Nevada Test site? Please tell Tanya to be strong. Thank you, Deb
